The Summer Uniform Principle

A ribbed high-neck cotton modal tank or an ultra-fine silk shell. This is the version built to stand on its own, worlds apart from an undershirt. It provides structure without bulk and disappears underneath everything else while somehow elevating it. The foundation piece that makes the whole formula work.

The Tailored Short

Pleated Bermuda shorts in linen or cotton. The piece that bridges the gap between casual and elevated without announcing which side it's on. Paired with a button-down it goes further than it has any right to. One of summer's most underrated uniforms done correctly.

The Poplin Shirt

An oversized crisp white cotton button-down earns its place because it moves through the whole day: open over a tank, tucked into linen trousers, or thrown over a swimsuit without asking for a second thought.

The Lightweight Blazer

A deconstructed linen or tropical-weight blazer. Its primary function in summer is surviving the air conditioning. But it does considerably more than that: it's the piece that makes an outfit read as intentional. What was simply dressed becomes finished.

The Go-To Dress

A slip-style midi or a smocked tiered maxi. The piece you reach for when you want to look completely put together without making a single decision. It handles humidity, travels well, and asks very little of you beyond putting it on. One piece, fully dressed. The dress does the work.
